This is absolutely normal & can actually help us to overcome certain challenges as when we are faced with stressful or dangerous situations our basic instinct of flight or fight response will automatically kick in to protect us. Stress is usually a reaction to mental or emotional pressure. It's often related to feeling like you're losing control over something, but sometimes there's no obvious cause. When you're feeling anxious or scared, your body releases stress hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol. Reducing negativity, can have a significant impact on reducing adrenaline and cortisol levels and alleviating symptoms. By becoming aware of our negative patterns (thoughts, feelings & behaviours) and acknowledging them in a very specific way we can interrupt and resolve the patterns.
