Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can really help alleviate some of the symptoms of depression. Using a combination of psychotherapy & hypnosis techniques I can help you to break the negative cycle of depression and provide you with the necessary tools & techniques to make positive changes.

Our fears and phobias can have a real impact on our everyday life & lead to general anxiety, depression & isolation.

Solution focused hypnotherapy can really make a difference. It is a very gentle and effective method for overcoming fears and phobias. I use effective techniques to process the phobic response pattern and re-frame it with a more positive helpful response.

Weight Management

​Many of our habits are hard-wired into the subconscious mind. The good news is that once we understand the links we can address the behaviours by adjusting the way we think. Much of our surplus eating and food choices are habits & these can be easily changed into more healthy ones.

About me

Hi, I’m Paula, & I’m passionate about helping people to make positive changes in their lives.

Having worked in Education for 14 years & leading staff & pupils wellbeing, I’m acutely aware of the limitations of our external agencies which makes it difficult to reach their criteria, leaving thousands of people not knowing how or where to seek help. 

This led to me to train in solution focused hypnotherapy so that I can offer a modern, well researched & effective alternative therapy which boasts outstanding results.

Process

Stress & anxiety affects us all. While a little stress & anxiety is quite normal, some is actually beneficial, too much stress & anxiety can wear you down and make you sick, both mentally and physically.

Stress & anxiety is the body's reaction to harmful situations - whether they’re real or perceived. When you feel threatened, a chemical reaction occurs in your body that allows you to act in a way to prevent injury. This reaction is known as "fight-or-flight” or the stress response. During the stress response, your heart rate increases, breathing quickens, muscles tighten, and blood pressure rises.  It is how you protect yourself.

When we are stressed and anxious we lose the ability to think & act rationally. This can lead to, amongst other things, catastrophising, negatively ruminating, emotionally eating & displaying avoidance behaviour. 

​

This is where Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can really help. It doesn’t matter what made you reach out for help, what matters is that you have the desire to change & to feel better.
